A group of residents welcomed young students to the community for a day of decorating cookies, meeting Santa, and sending letters to the North Pole. Many residents even volunteered to be Santa’s elves and write notes back to the children in time for the holiday.
“The residents love writing personalized messages to the kids and making the season even brighter for them,” said Community Life Director Karen DeHart. “Our community members feel the holidays are about giving to others, and we all are thrilled the event and letters are giving joy to the young students.”
