The Glades at ChampionsGate was recently featured in an article published by McKnights Senior Living for its revolutionary approach to building and maintaining friendships among its male residents.
Executive Director Dan Guanio explained that after creating a monthly lunch group, more male residents became involved within the community through events and other engagement opportunities, allowing them to form stronger bonds and connections.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled that the men in our community finally are gathering in a meaningful way. The socialization has had a positive effect on them and their overall mood, and their excitement is spreading throughout our community,” he said.
